The Loader Operator is responsible for moving and loading vehicles with a company provided front end loader or fork lift. In addition, the Loader Operator will be required to maintain documentation of vehicle movement around the jobsite.
Furthermore, the Loader Operator will be responsible for the daily pre- and post-trip inspections and associated documentation of their assigned machine. In addition, operator will maintain a safe work environment and be required to follow and be held accountable to company guidelines for safe loader operation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts.
- Operates company equipment safely.
- Assists with the maintenance of company equipment and vehicles.
- Records vehicle information accurately and legibly.
- Operates digital camera or other basic vehicle documentation and tracking devices.
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor.
- Follows company guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (i.e. speed limits, etc.).
- Must be able to load and unload vehicles as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent verifiable experience required operating heavy equipment – front end loader with the ability to use a root rake, track hoe experience is a plus.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical problems is helpful.
- Must have the ability to perform daily maintenance on equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, which includes being outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.

- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noise
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
Language Skills
- Must understand basic English language
- Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
