Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage multiple survey crews and in-house survey staff (schedule, scope, budget)
  2. Direct, control and supervise survey work and survey crews.
  3. Scheduling crews in conjunction with survey needs for multiple construction projects.
  4. Coordinate with outside survey support as required to ensure project survey needs are met.
  5. Able to meet with project managers and clients to discuss progress and schedule.
  6. Review all survey crews generated as-built data to ensure accuracy.
  7. Maintains good condition and adjustment of survey equipment.
  8. Evaluates and makes recommendations for new survey equipment.
  9. Quantity Takeoffs for Construction Estimation as required.
  10. Helping to hire and maintaining the supervision needed for all survey crews. This is to include interviews and hiring of new personnel, as necessary.

General Requirements:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. High level computer skills must know Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
  3. Must be versed with selected estimating software.
  4. High level of negotiation and marketing skills.
  5. High level financial planning and budgeting skills.
  6. High level strategy, analytical and planning skills.
  7. Knowledge of the construction and maintenance industry.
  8. Knowledge of financial management principles.
  9. Must be self-motivated and punctual to all appointments.
  10. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills.
  11. Must be professional and polished in appearance and speech.
