Jon M. Hall Company is seeking a skilled and experienced Survey Crew Chief to manage survey operations across multiple projects. This role is essential in ensuring accurate site measurements, data collection, and construction layout. What You’ll Do:

Manage and direct a survey crew across multiple construction projects, ensuring schedules, scope, and budgets are met.
Supervise and control survey work, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to discuss progress, scheduling, and any site adjustments.
Review and verify as-built data to maintain accuracy and compliance.
Maintain, calibrate, and adjust survey equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Evaluate and recommend new survey equipment to enhance efficiency.
Conduct quantity takeoffs for construction estimation as required.

What You Bring to the Team:

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in construction survey work.
Technical Knowledge:
Proficiency in Trimble, SCS900, and AutoCAD.
High-level computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project).
Analytical & Planning Skills: Ability to strategize, evaluate, and improve survey procedures.
Leadership & Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to train, lead, and coach survey crews for improved productivity.

Physical Requirements:

Strength & Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb on and off equipment, and work outdoors in all conditions.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid Florida driver’s license with a good driving record.
